Overview

Learn and discover by yourself the endless cycle of wildebeests and zebras life as you track the big five on the Serengeti and Mara plains. Trace the migratory path from South to north inside the remote Serengeti, an area rarely visited by outsiders, and cross into Kenya’s Maasai Mara reserve to search for the elusive leopard. Learn about elephants in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro and rare black rhinos in the Great Ngorongoro Crater.

  • Day 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI
  • Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with VIP meet & assist service included, you will be assisted to meet our representative for safari briefing and transfer you to Eka Hotel for refreshment then spend the afternoon/evening at leisure. You can enjoy a relaxing swim in the hotel’s swimming pool or simply relax at the comfort of your hotel room with full internet access guaranteed. Later have dinner and overnight at Eka Hotel.
  • DAY 02: NAIROBI CITY EXCURSIONS.
  • Guests will wake up early for breakfast before departing for an early morning game drive in Nairobi National Park. This is the only national park in a country’s capital city in the world. Expect to see lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras as well as plenty of birdlife for the bird lovers. Later by 1000hrs head to Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage where orphaned and vulnerable baby elephants are well taken of away from the wild. You also get to see them up close as they are being fed. Afterwards head to Carnivore restaurant for lunch and refreshments. You will then proceed to the Giraffe Centre for up close interactions with the tallest African mammal and aslo feed them from the stands. This is truly an unforgettable experience. Later head back to Eka hotel for overnight.
  • DAY 03: NAIROBI: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK.
  • Wake up in time for breakfast then check out from your lodge. Board the awaiting safari vehicle then depart to Amboseli National Park. The journey to Amboseli takes approximately 3 hours. Arrive at your lodge just in time for lunch then freshen up after the long safari. Later depart for PM game drive in the vast Amboseli Park. The park is home to the largest population of elephants and also provides unbeatable views of Mt Kilimanjaro. Return back to the camp for dinner and overnight at Kilima Safari Camp.
  • DAY 04: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK.
  • Breakfast at your lodge: Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit with packed lunch provided, Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in the whole of Africa to experience large herds of elephant at close range. Dinner and overnight at Kilima Safari Camp.
  • DAY 05: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – NAMANGA BORDER - TANZANIA
  • Wake up in time for breakfast. You will then freshen up and check out from the hotel. Our driver will drop you off at the Namanga border clear customs and immigration formalities assisted by Tanzania driver. Then proceed to Arusha city arriving at your hotel in time for lunch. Later afternoon start the Arusha tour on foot up until later evening when you return to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Point Zone Resort.
  • DAY 6: MTO WA MBU CULTURAL ACTIVITIES & LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK GAME DRIVE
  • Your driver guide with a 4x4 safari vehicle will pick you up from the hotel at 08:00AM and drive off to Mto wa Mbu. Mto Wa Mbu Village activities include tour of local market, interaction with local people, visit to their homes, Maasai village visit, banana plantations and primary school or orphanage center. You can bring school supplies as an option and cash money to purchase wood carvings if you wish. You will enjoy the fresh food from the gardens of Mto wa Mbu. Afternoon will be time for game drive in the Lake Manyara National Park. Troops of baboons will welcome you upon entering the gate. Set your eyes up for tree climbing lions in this park. It is a home of up to 400 species of birdlife. Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large water birds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks. Dinner and Overnight at Tloma Lodge
  • DAY 7: NGORONGORO CRATER
  • After breakfast start off to Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunch. Descend 2,000 feet into the crater; spend time exploring the 102-square-mile floor. Ngorongoro is home to approximately 30,000 animals, 25,000 being large mammals, mainly grazers – gazelles, buffalo, eland, hartebeest and warthog. You will not find giraffe since there is little to eat at tree level, nor Topi, because the competition with wildebeest is too fierce. On the ground floor, elephants are strangely mainly bulls. You can be lucky to sport the endangered black rhino in the crater floor. Ascend slowly as you drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge.
  • DAY 8: SERENGETI SOUTH – NDUTU
  • Leave for Serengeti National Park with game drive en route arriving at your camp for hot lunch. Continue with game drive in search of wildebeest migration then return to your camp for dinner and overnight at Tanzania Bush Camps.
  • DAY 9: SERENGETI SOUTH – NDUTU FULL DAY GAME DRIVE
  • Full day game drive in the South Serengeti Ndutu area. Today you are likely to see the wildebeest dropping babies and predators in action. Hyenas and cheetahs stalking the born babies and the lions after the mother gnu. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight at Tanzania Bush Camps.
  • DAY 10: TO SERENGETI CENTRAL – VIA OLDUVAI GORGE
  • After breakfast move to the central Serengeti with game drive en-route. Visit Olduvai Gorge - where archaeologists Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the fossilized remains of the earliest known man, an estimated 1.8 million years old. Continue with wildlife viewing while driving on the rough dirt roads across the plains to your safari lodge for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.
  • DAY 11: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK OPTIONAL BALLOON
  • Early risers may take advantage of the adventure of a lifetime: an optional Balloon Safari tour. Then, enjoy another spectacular Morning of taking in beautiful vistas and experiencing the densest concentration of plains mammals in the world. Enjoy picnic lunch then continue with game drive. View more of the Serengeti resident wild animals in action, you will encounter sightings of wildebeests, zebras, tower of giraffes, park of hyenas, leopards, pride of lions, cheetahs, memories of elephants, school of hippos, gang of buffalos, jackals, gazelles etc. Return to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.
  • DAY 12: FLIGHT FROM SERONERA TO MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE IN KENYA
  • Today you say farewell to your driver guide. Drive to Seronera Airstrip for a small flight to
  • to Maasai Mara National Reserve in kenya. The reserve is Kenya’s premium wildlife haven with the largest population of animals in the country. It is also home to the largest population of lions in Kenya. The reserve also gives an opportunity for guests to learn and experience the unique culture of the host community, the Maasai. Drive to the lodge with a comprehensive game drive enroot, Later dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge.
  • DAY 13: MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE.
  • On this day you will enjoy your morning and afternoon/full day game drives in the world’s famous Maasai Mara where you will have high chances of seeing animals like Lions, Giraffes, Rhinos, elephants, topis and hyenas. Horseback safari can be organized. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serana Safari Lodge.
  • DAY 14: DEPARTURE.
  • After breakfast and check out from the lodge, you will drive to Nairobi for lunch before you are transferred to Jomo Kenyata International Airport for your flight back home.
